Cut by the Moon
A walk in another man's shoes that departs a present-day metropolitan northern city and arrives in the segregated south of the early 50's. The Black and White cultures have been reversed and the new cultural identities are all inclusive. There is no crack in the suspension of disbelief; there is no safe haven of original cultural identity, it is a VISERAL encounter with prejudice in America.
It is a story of fear, ignorance and naive valor. Small-time Politician's attempt to protect the status quo from migrating open-minded beliefs. The collision of ideas results in murder, lynching and lies, and exposes secret loves that have long ago crossed the color line. The beginnings of civil rights
activism are seen anew through a polarizing lens. It's Mississippi Burning, Rosewood and White Man's Burden with a faint echo of Harper Lee's storytelling.
